At this point I think other counties are passing these laws just to poke fun at the US. Not that I think the other countries aren’t serious about equality I just feel like people were probably already doing it and no one was making a fuss about it.
The idea that we have to proactively pass laws to protect the rights of people based solely on sexual orientation is a bit embarrassing.

Riots? Protests? Violence? All over a decision that will likely never effect any of them in any way. Until of course one of the “doth protest too much” characters finally comes out of the closet and realizes he had the same rights as everyone else. The end.
