After yesterday’s Dodgers vs. Giants game Matt Kemp was caught on video making this fans day. Apparently the kids father had gotten the Dodgers third base coach’s attention during the game and told him his son was a huge Dodgers fan and that Matt Kemp was his favorite player.
After the game was over the third base coach told Matt Kemp about the father and his son, who is disabled and Matt Kemp headed on over. He signed the ball the kid had brought to the park and then proceeded to literally give the game worn jersey off his back, his Dodgers cap and his cleats. It’s moments like this in sports that still manage to transcend.
