Reddit user okanagandude posted this photo of a lobster his uncle caught off of Felix Cove, Newfoundland.

The lobster was caught back in June in St. George’s Cove. The strange-looking animal has two genders, female organs on the blue side and male on the traditional-coloured side.

The odds of finding a normal two-toned lobster is around 1 in 100 million. According to reddit statisticians the odds of catching a half blue lobster are somewhere between 1 in 100 million and 1 in a bajillion. Whatever the odds, it is indeed the rarest lobster you can catch.
