Egyptian newspaper uses exact copy of a ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ ad to promote General Sisi

The New York Times Mideast correspondent, David Kirkpatrick, tweeted this disturbing image of General Sisi that ran in an Egyptian newsaper earlier this evening. They even used the, “deep inside you know you’re him,” line which somehow makes it twice as disturbing.

Kirkpatrick says that’s they’re serious and this isn’t a joke. Is it even possible to pair together a more unlikely pair? I would have paid money to have been in on the brainstorming session that came up with this gem. That must have been some interesting justification.
