John McCain held a town hall meeting in Arizona last night to discuss, among other things, the situation in Syria. McCain was getting railed at by his constituents who are largely against any sort of military action in Syria, an action which McCain supports.
Still, that didn’t get McCain down, apparently he knows his anti-war crowd better than we thought. During the town hall meeting McCain unexpectedly voiced his support for the legalization of marijuana. Arizona Daily Star columnist Tim Steller, who attended the meeting, tweeted McCain’s new stance on marijuana reform last night.
