It never ceases to amaze me how otherwise perfectly normal people are willing to lose their minds and fight over ridiculously petty things in order to save a few bucks. It’s like the entire working class population of the U.S., which for the most part is forced to barely get by living paycheck to paycheck, feels as if they’re somehow leveling the playing field if they can get a good deal on a flat screen tv. It’s almost analogous to keeping a kennel full of dogs and starving them for weeks at a time and then throwing food in there to watch them fight over who’s going to get to eat.

One of Walmart’s Black Friday deals was a Funai 32-inch TV for $98. This is the scene one guy caught on camera before he was asked to leave by a Walmart employee for filming the chaos. Of course the people scrumming for televisions or throwing people to the ground weren’t asked to leave but, then again, they were giving Walmart money.

  1. “DO NOT LOOK at the man behind the curtain!” This is yet another reason why I do not shop until Dec. 2 and never between Dec. 23-28.
