I’ve always been fascinated by neutron stars since the first time I learned that they existed. They’re basically these things out there that we know exist but have very little understanding as to how they exist. With atoms the size of mountains, gravity so dense that it compacts the mass of three of our suns into an object 15 miles wide and a magnetic field so strong it bends atoms I think it’s a safe bet to say that neutron stars are some of the coolest objects in our Universe.
This video lays out everything we know about neutron stars.
