As longtime readers know, I’m never one to embellish or hyperbolize my subject matter or my material in any way. The world is zany enough without adding any more outlandishness to it.
That being said, I can say without hesitation, that this video perfectly exemplifies two things: One, the sheer awesome power of the internet and two, how that power has become the perfect tool at the perfect time for mankind’s next step in evolution. Which is like, obvs, you know, right? All of this awesomeness coming together at just the right time after billions and billions of years of, for the most part, complete boredom, then some cool dinosaur shit, then boredom, then computing technology, communication technology, camera technology and fireworks technology all intersect at this point in spacetime to make it possible for this guy, to invent a freaking rocket, run a half dozen or so tests on it, and finally realize that he’s accidentally created what is quite possibly the most human way of taking off a pair of socks ever invented.
What the internet has allowed us, as humans, to do is to share this beautiful bit of information with our entire tribe of 7 billion or so brothers and sisters in a matter of minutes.
